He started his career in small drama roles in 2006, but he came to prominence with his acting role in Boys Over Flowers. He has subsequently appeared in the 2010 romantic comedy drama Personal Taste and the 2011 action drama City Hunter.

Jae Hee Profile - Jae Hee (born Lee Hyun-kyoon, 25 May 1980) is a South Korean actor who made his on-screen debut in the Korean drama School. Jang Geun Suk is determined to receive the title of a ‘World Star’

Korean Singer-actor Jang Geun Suk expressed his strong desire to become an international star.

The Hallyu icon received the ‘World Star Award‘ at the third annual 2011 Asia Jewelry Awards held at the Intercontinental Hotel on December 6th. In order to greet all of his Japanese fans that traveled to attend the event, Jang Geun Suk expressed his emotions in Japanese by proudly remarking, “It says ‘World Star’.”

“I know that the title may not suit me quite yet, but it’s something I’ve dreamed about since I was young,” he said. “If I am given the opportunity, I will work ’til death to become one,” he continued, earning the warm applause of the audience.

This year’s third annual Asia Jewelry Awards were held in an effort to spread more awareness of Korean culture and the excellence of Korean jewelry design. The hottest stars as well as multiple corporations were in attendance and they promoted ‘noblesse oblige’, the idea that the noble must first reach out to help those who are less fortunate.

Group JYJ won the ‘World K-POP Superstar Award‘, T-ARA and MBLAQ won the ‘Diamond Award‘ under the musical artists category, and Joo Sang Wook as well as Moon Chae Won won the ‘Diamond Award‘ under the actor/actress category. Additionally, Uhm Ji Won and Lee Jae Hwang were awarded the ‘Sapphire Award‘, while Lee Seung Hyo and Lee Haein were awarded the ‘Ruby Award‘.

He said that his current girlfriend is his first love. They had once broke up, but got back together.

Korean Artists News-Lee Sun Gyun’s Mother Passes Away-Actor Lee Sun Gyun, affectionately known as “The Voice” by international fans after his name-making role in the drama “The 1^st Shop of Coffee Prince,” has been devastated by the unexpected death of his mother today on November 15.
His mother (70 years old) was admitted to the hospital yesterday after experiencing pain in her chest area.  She died today due cardiovascular complications.

JYJ sings song for commercial

Korean Artists News-JYJ sings song for commercial-JYJ recently signed a contract with Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical Corporation and sang a ‘Penzal Q’ song for their commercial.
On the 28th, the song was released on Penzal Q’s official facebook account and drew a lot of attention.
The song features a man who is worrying about his girlfriend getting sick.
People responded: “My headache is going away.” “I should not be sick.” “JYJ’s song is making me feel better.”
A spokesperson for the company said, “We made the song with JYJ in mind. Music director Kwon Kyu Jin and talented songwriter Jung Jin Hwan co-produced the song.”
Jung had made over three hundred songs for singers, including, Baek Ji Young and Cool, and TV series, including, Secret Garden and Hwang Jiny.
The commercial will start airing on October 1.
