Korean Artists News-Lee Sun Gyun’s Mother Passes Away-Actor Lee Sun Gyun, affectionately known as “The Voice” by international fans after his name-making role in the drama “The 1^st Shop of Coffee Prince,” has been devastated by the unexpected death of his mother today on November 15.
His mother (70 years old) was admitted to the hospital yesterday after experiencing pain in her chest area. She died today due cardiovascular complications.

Her funeral will be held at Seoul’s Severance Hospital on November 17. Lee Sun Gyun is currently making preparations with his wife, actress Jeon Hye Jin.
It is unclear as of yet how Lee Sun Gyun’s schedule will be affected after this sudden and tragic death. He was set to start filming for his new movie, “All About My Wife,” at the end of this month, for a release next year.
“All About My Wife” also stars Im Soo Jung (“Finding Kim Jong Wook”) and Ryu Seung Ryong (“Personal Taste”). It is about mismatched but married couple, that is on the brink of divorce.
